Meet the highest paid Basketball player of Nigerian origin.

Born in Greece to Nigerian parents,
Giannis Sina Ougko Antetokounmpo began playing basketball for the youth teams of Filathlitikos in Athens, he began playing for the clubs senior team in 2011. Antetokounmpo was selected 15th overall by the Bucks after he declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft in 2013.
In 2016-17 Antetokounmpo led the Bucks in all five major statistical categories and became the first player in NBA history to finish a regular season in the top 20 in total points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. He received the Most Improved Player award in 2017. Antetokounmpo has also received three All-Star selections, and led the Eastern Conference in voting in 2019. In June 2019, he was named the NBA Most Valuable Player.

With a salary is $24.2 million, and $19 million from endorsements, He made it to the NBA’s Highest-Paid Players for 2019 with a total earning of $43.2 million. Antetokounmpo is the highest paid Nigerian NBA player, even though he plays for the Greek National team and not the D’Tigers of Nigeria.
